Installing
Three steps, about a minute.
Download the app
Tap Download for Android above. Your phone may warn that the file could be harmful, because it did not come from Google Play. Choose Download anyway.
Allow the install
Open the file when it finishes. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps (Settings, then Install unknown apps). You only need to do this once.
Sign in
Use your ELMED email and password. New here? Create an account in the app, then tap the link in the email we send you.
Staying up to date
Improvements arrive on their own.
Your data stays in South Africa
The app talks only to elmed.healthcare, the same secure service as the website, under POPIA.
On an iPhone?
There is no iPhone app yet. Open elmed.healthcare in Safari and use Add to Home Screen for a shortcut.

Why is it not in Google Play?
We publish the app here first so patients can start using it now. A Google Play listing will follow. Updates reach you either way.
How do I know the file is genuine?
Only download it from elmed.healthcare/app. If you want to check the file, its SHA-256 fingerprint is ea2d30f52be66ab3b450eab6ddadad1b5ad9d9af3d3c13ad61cdfd8d0fa0e8eb
Can doctors and pharmacies use it?
No. This app is for patients. Professionals should keep using the website, ideally on a tablet or laptop.
