Getting the app
Where do I download the ELMED app?
The ELMED app is available on both iOS and Android. Search for ELMED in the App Store or Google Play Store and download it for free.
Do I need a separate account for the app?
No. Use the same email and password you registered with on the ELMED website. Your account works across both.
Who is the app for right now?
The current version of the app is built for patients. Doctor and pharmacy apps are on the roadmap. For now, doctors and pharmacies manage their portals through the browser at elmed.healthcare.
What you can do in the app
Patient dashboard
Your dashboard is the first screen after logging in. It shows your upcoming consultations, recent prescriptions, active orders, and any new messages. Everything you need is one tap away from here.
Booking a consultation
Tap Book Consultation from the dashboard or the bottom navigation. Browse doctors by specialty or search by name. Pick a time that works and confirm. You will get a push notification when the doctor accepts.
Viewing prescriptions
Tap Prescriptions to see all your current and past scripts. You can view the details of each one and request a refill directly from the app.
Tracking orders
Any pharmacy orders you have placed show up under Orders with a live status. You will also get push notifications when your order moves from Dispensing to Out for Delivery to Delivered.
Messages
Tap Messages to see all your conversations with doctors and pharmacies. You can send and receive messages the same way you would on the website.
Medical aid claims
Your claims are under the Claims section. You can see the status of each claim and download the EOB PDF once it has been processed by your scheme.
Family members
Tap Family to see your linked dependants and book on their behalf. The full family management features are coming in the next version of the app.
Doctor directory
Browse all available ELMED doctors under Doctors. You can filter by specialty and tap any doctor to view their profile and book directly.
