Telehealth Consultations

Run video consultations via integrated Jitsi rooms. Accept requests, start the room and complete the consultation with notes, all in one flow.

Lab Results and Imaging

Order labs or scans and receive results directly in your portal. Critical values are flagged. Order imaging and receive radiologist reports.

Earnings and Billing

Track consultation revenue, link your bank account and request payouts. Invoices are auto-generated on every completed consultation.

Premium subscribers get a public-facing microsite at /dr/your-name with articles, bookings and a contact inbox.

How to get on ELMED

Register and submit your HPCSA number

Create your account, select Doctor, and complete your profile with your HPCSA registration number and practice details.

Admin reviews and approves your account

The ELMED team reviews your credentials. You receive an approval email once your account is active.

Start seeing patients digitally

Add patients, accept consultation requests, write prescriptions and manage your practice from your portal.

What does ELMED cost for a doctor?

The Listed plan is free. Premium (R999/month) adds a public microsite, custom payment gateway and API access. Integration (R399/month) adds API and webhooks only.

Do I need to be HPCSA-registered to join?

Yes. ELMED requires a valid HPCSA registration number for all doctors and specialists. Your credentials are reviewed by the ELMED team before your account is approved.

Can I run a telehealth practice on ELMED?

Yes. Enable telehealth mode in your consultation settings and patients can book video consultations. ELMED provides integrated video rooms at no extra charge.

Can I manage a multi-doctor practice on ELMED?

Yes. Use the Organisation portal to group multiple doctors under one practice, manage shared billing and control staff access.
