Upload a result PDF or enter values manually. Results attach to the patient record and the ordering doctor is notified immediately.

Critical Value Flagging

Mark results as normal, abnormal or critical. Critical flags trigger an immediate notification to the ordering doctor.

Lab Microsite

Premium labs get a public microsite at /lab/your-name with test panels, branch locations, accreditation details and a contact form.

Billing

Invoices auto-generate per test request. Medical aid claims are filed automatically where applicable.

SANAS Accreditation Display

Your SANAS accreditation number is displayed on your portal profile and your public microsite, building trust with referring doctors.

How to get on ELMED

Register with your accreditation details

Create your account, select Laboratory and add your SANAS accreditation number, lab name and location.

Admin approves your lab

The ELMED team reviews your accreditation and activates your lab account.

Receive requests and upload results

Test requests from ELMED doctors appear in your queue. Upload results and the doctor is notified instantly.

Can any lab join ELMED?

Labs must hold valid SANAS accreditation or equivalent professional registration. Credentials are reviewed before the account is activated.

How do doctors send test requests to my lab?

Doctors create a lab request from their patient record and select your lab. The request appears in your queue with full patient and test details.

Can I have multiple branches?

Yes. The lab microsite supports multiple branch locations, each with its own address, hours and contact details.

Do results go directly to the patient?

Results are sent to the ordering doctor first. Patients see their results in their patient portal once the doctor has reviewed them.
