Register with your AHPCSA number

Create your account, select Complementary Medicine and add your AHPCSA registration number and discipline.

Admin approves your account

Credentials are reviewed and your complementary medicine portal is activated.

Add patients, conduct consultations and issue remedy recommendations from your portal.

Which complementary disciplines are supported?

All AHPCSA-registered disciplines: homeopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, phytotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, reflexology, aromatherapy and therapeutic massage.

Can complementary practitioners prescribe Schedule 4 medications?

No. The remedy recommendation form on ELMED is clearly scoped to complementary practice. It is not a pharmaceutical prescription form.

Is ELMED suitable for chiropractors?

Yes. Chiropractors register under the Complementary Medicine role. The consultation notes include spinal and musculoskeletal assessment fields.
