Live Imaging Worklist

Imaging requests from ELMED doctors appear in your worklist with patient details, modality, clinical indication and urgency.

Digital Reporting

Record your findings, impression and recommendations. The completed report is sent directly to the ordering doctor and attached to the patient's imaging record.

Modality Support

Support for X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography and any other modality. Modality is set per request by the ordering doctor.

Patient List

View all patients whose imaging you have reported. Access historical scans and reports for comparison studies.

Billing

Reporting fees are invoiced automatically. Medical aid claims are filed where the patient has a linked scheme.

HPCSA Verification

Your HPCSA number is verified before your account is activated. Suspended radiologists cannot access the platform.

Register with your HPCSA number

Create your account, select Radiologist and add your HPCSA number and practice details.

Admin approves your account

Credentials are reviewed and your radiology account is activated.

Work your worklist

Imaging requests arrive from ELMED doctors. Report findings and deliver results without leaving the platform.

How do imaging requests reach my worklist?

When an ELMED doctor orders imaging for a patient, they select the modality and your practice. The request appears in your worklist immediately.

Can I receive DICOM images through ELMED?

DICOM integration is on the roadmap. Currently, radiologists report via the portal and can attach PDF reports or typed findings.

Do patients see my reports?

Patients see imaging results in their patient portal once the ordering doctor has reviewed them.

Is the radiology portal suitable for sonographers?

Yes. Sonographers can register under the Radiology portal. Independent sonar practices use the same worklist and reporting flow.
