How to get on ELMED

Register with your HPCSA number

Create your account, select Rehab Therapist and complete your profile with your HPCSA number, discipline and practice details.

Get approved by the ELMED team

Credentials are reviewed and your account is activated. You appear in the allied health referral directory.

Receive referrals and close the loop

GP referrals arrive in your inbox. Consult, record and send discharge summaries back to the referring doctor.

Any HPCSA-registered rehabilitation discipline: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, biokinetics, podiatry and more.

How do GPs refer to me on ELMED?

GPs use the Referral Hub in their doctor portal, select Allied Health, choose your discipline and send a referral with a clinical summary.

Can I send a report back to the referring GP?

Yes. The discharge summary you write in your portal is sent directly to the referring GP and appears in their patient record.

Do patients book sessions through ELMED?

Patients can book via your appointment page and through your microsite if you are on a Premium subscription.
